Mouthganking around the world

In order to keep this blog somewhat regulary updated, I decided to throw in another quick poll for funzies, starring everyone's... favourite(?) character, mouthganker!

The question is simple, who should mouthganker always prioritize for ganking? I say prioritize, because as we all know, he'd just gank them all eventually.

But which one should he always gank first? ... you decide.

And yes, not all races are on there because frankly, I just don't like them all that much.

But as always, feel free to tell which one you voted for. And no, this does not take away from my time working on videos or this site, this was thrown together in 5 minutes, so don't you worry. More stuff is coming.

New video: Bang at First Sight

Finally, it's finished. This took me way longer than was intended, hopefully it doesn't dissapoint too much for those who were expecting more.

I'll be honest, in terms of "story" this is not my favourite one, as I didn't really have any idea where I was going with this - you might notice that with the ending.

However, in terms of effects and pretty much all other technical aspects - it's miles better than any of my other videos. Now I'm not claiming it's the greatest thing ever, but to me, it's a vast improvement.

This video was actually more of an experimental one, especially with effects. For instance; the "heat-ripple" effect when they were outside in the sun, the dust flying around, sun beam effect into the camera, the color adjustment, the dust when he gets trampled, the ressurection spell effect, masking, etc... you get the point.

To give you a good example, just compare the visuals of the video above with one of my very early work.

The difference should be pretty clear.

Overall, it was a very ambitious project for me, and I'm mostly happy with it. I did notice some errors in the video once it was uploaded to youtube. But they aren't too glaring big. I might fix that later and reupload it.

Anyway, this post is kind of long but it needs to be said.

Some of you are probably wondering now "Is it always going to take this long for a new video?" - The answer is no.

Now I have a pretty good idea on what to do in terms of editing and video rendering, experimenting days are over, now it just comes down to practise and maybe learning on the way.
I already have 2 new video ideas laying ready, one of it has already parts done.
So a new video should be coming out fairly soon. I will keep you up to date on this very blog.

Small update time.

It was brought to my attention some of the pictures in the gallery weren't working properly, that should be fixed now. The latest 3 new images have been added to the gallery as well now.

I like to experiment, especially with photoshop. And now that this blog is finally starting to find it's place, I feel like sharing more and more as I get used to it.

I've made two versions of the picture below, now I'm curious to know which one you guys prefer.

A quick head's up

"Blood elves suck"

I've been secretly trying to finish my latest video but alas, I failed to finish it once again. Though, I finally have found a decent method of video rendering, and I have to say, I'm kinda proud on how the video looks now in terms of quality, it's been amped up quite a bit.

I completely underestimated the amount of time that goes into the audio part, it totally screwed me over, it's definitely one of my least favourite things about making videos. Finding fitting decent quality audio can be pretty teddious.

But the video will definitely be coming out this week, that I promise.

I'm also aware that some of the pictures on here are broken, I will fix those tommorow, right now I'm a bit tired.

The video page and shinogen's pictures gallery still needs to be worked on, but those 2 things are currently on the backseat and not my highest priority.
